Hello everyone, what is good?
This post is going to be pretty short. As there are only a couple things to discuss in my cut from last week.
Nothing out of the ordinary, except I am currently out of a job and doing cardio at 7 am instead of 5 am. I will discuss that more below.
The progress continues though and I am starting to see a difference in the mirror. I am going to show you guys a picture and you can be the judge.
Please check out my cutting procedure, week 1, week 2, and week 3 if you have not already. They show what I have been doing and what has been going during this cut as of now. Anyway, on to the log.
So this week, I am 215 pounds.
Solid. I am very happy with that. I am 2/3 of the way to my goal and have 5 weeks left in this cut. Not bad.
I do not know if the weight loss is slowing down. I am not dropping weight nearly as quickly as I was in the first two weeks.
Between weeks 1 and 2, I lost 7 pounds. In contrast to these past weeks where I have only lost a total of 3 pounds. That is half of the result. That is weird because that would be the quickest my body has ever adapted to a cut before.
Obviously, since I am losing weight that shows my body has not fully adjusted to what I am doing but I do not know for sure.
Either way, I am very happy with how far I have come thus far in the cut. Things are working out very well thus far.
Changes In My Exercise Regimen
I started doing a 20 minute cardio session at night as well as extending my cardio sessions in the morning to 60 minutes.
This is just extra calorie burning in case my body adjusts to my routine. I think it is a good move, although it can be a little more taxing on my end. This is what it will take to get the physique I want.
Lifting Weights And Diet
My diet is still the same. It seems to be treating me well. However, I am looking to see if I should go even lower carbs and higher in protein.
The reason is I am losing a little bit of strength in the gym and I looking to counteract that. Now I am still on Epi Andro and Ostarine. That was done amazingly well in making sure I do go catabolic and lose all my muscle.
However, if there is anything else I can do to improve my performance in gym then I will try to do that as well. I am consistently eating around 1600 to 1650 calories/day.
220 grams of protien. 80 grams of carbs. 45 grams of fats. I have been told by many veterans that I should give two shits about strength while I am cutting and that makes sense.
Naturally, you will lose strength because of the caloric deficit. It's just science. It has happen to me every time in the past. Sometimes slightly and other times drastically.
That is why I take the anabolics though. To promote some anabolic activity in my body during this cut. This keeps the weight loss just to fat and no muscle tissue wastage. That is ideal.
However, I am on a very light dosage so there might be a little bit of muscle wasting going on. I would not be shocked.
Either way, I might need to let go of my ego and accept the slight loss in strength. I can always gain it back later. No biggie. I hope.
Other than that, everything with my cut is going well. Now that I am unemployed, I am more flexibility with my time to hit the gym. This while I am applying to a massive amount of jobs and chasing leads.
It happens, I got thrown in a hole and I will dig myself out. Believe that playa. I am nobody's bitch and I will do what I need to rise above.
