Rebel Ray’s Cutting Log: Week 5

Introduction

What's up rebels? I hope you are doing well. 

This is week 5 of my fall cutting procedure. So far things have good. Check out week 4 to see my previous weeks progress. 

For those of you who do not know, I also got laid off in week 3. So that really sucked and but luckily it did not eat in to my productivity too much. Not at all actually.

I was interviewing a lot and still applying to more jobs so though so that took up a lot of my time.  

Luckily, cutting is a goal that does not take up all your time during the day and does give you time to do other things. 

Anyway, on to my log. 

My Weight

​So this week, I weighed in at 213 pounds. Another 2 pounds down from last week. Nice!! I am loving the results and I am really seeing the differences in my physique.

It seems like I am only losing fat because my strength in the gym has only decreased slightly.

It seems the ostarine and Epiandrosterone are really doing the trick on this cut. I am not going super catabolic and losing tons of muscle. The weight loss is slow but its not coming at the expense of hard earned muscle. Sweet.

You can see in the picture below. I am finally looking a little leaner. I can see the differences in the mirror. This is great.

Hopefully, you guys can see the differences too. I might need to lose more weight for you guys to see a drastic difference. Let me know in the comments section.    

Diet And Exercise

This week I averaged under just 1700 calories in food. 230 grams of protein. 85 grams of carbs, and 45 grams of fats is the nutrient breakdown. Pretty solid. 

Diet is still pretty easy to maintain. I keep my meals simple and I use protein powder when necessary. I also supplement fiber and veggie powder as well. 

I am still doing cardio twice a day at the moment. A 60 minute session in the morning and 20-30 minute in the evening.

I think this will enhance fat loss as my metabolism continues to slow down. Or at least that is what I am hoping. This has worked for me in the past but we will see. 

My Thoughts

What I am doing is fucking working man. I am getting that fat loss handled. I feel like I am a boss and I am happy with my progress.

I highly recommend you guys hop on a low dose of a mild anabolic. It will really help you keep muscle on throughout your cut.

Some say it might inhibit fat loss a tiny bit. That might be true but that is the cost of keeping the muscle. Your fat loss might not come as quickly as you would like. It happens. I am okay with it. 

I am starting to feel more tired throughout the day. I am sure this a product of the caloric deficit my body is in.

This is only a problem at work when I have trouble staying awake at my desk. No good in front of my bosses.

In which case, I used to just hop to a bathroom on another floor and take a 10 minute power nap and I would be good to go. But I do not have a job anymore so whatever. LOLZ!

Other Things Going On In My Life

I got offered a job this week. I accepted. It is temporary position at a large financial company in suburban Northern Virginia.

I am not too happy about it to be honest because it literally pays 2/3 of what I was getting paid before at my last job and the work is way less stimulating.

It is what is though. I need money to keep coming so I can continue to save money toward my escape to Chiang Mai in 2018.  

I wish my previous had just waited 6 months more months to lay me off then I would not care because I would hit my financial savings goal but that was the case obviously. 

I do my best to hustle and make the best of these very shitty situations. I am sure somethings good lays down the road for me soon.  

I just have to stay focused and working hard. That is the answer to most of my problems in life, to be honest. 

Hopefully, this job is not too soul sucking because I am not in position to quit if I hate it. But we will see. I will keep you guys updated for sure.   

Conclusion

There you have it. That is my update for week 5. I have over half way done with my cut as of right now. I am happy with my progress.
