Rebel Ray’s Cutting Log: Week 8

Introduction

Wow. We are through with week 8!!

8 weeks of early morning cardio. 8 weeks of a goddamn caloric deficit. 8 weeks of resisting cravings. 8 weeks of pushing it in the gym.

Jesus Christ. I am fucking sick of it. I am so over it.

But I am not over the results. LOLz!

That is what keeps me going man. The thought of being ripped again. The thought of being 185-190 next year.

Check out how I looked after first Epi Andro cycle.

I am trying to get back to late 2012 to late 2014 Ray Kingsman status. That is the ultimate goal.

I will probably take 2 more cutting cycles after this one to get there but it is worth it if I am shredded by the end of 2017.

I still have one more fucking week to go and then 3-4 months of reverse dieting. But I am excited because the results are bound to keep coming.

Reverse dieting takes way less time than cutting. I will release a guide on what I plan on doing next week during that phase.

Please check out previous weeks posts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) so you know how I got here. Also, go ahead and check my fall cutting procedure so you know what I am doing during this cut.

Anyway, lets get into it.

My Weight

This week I come weighing in at 207 pounds. One a pound down from last week.

Not bad. I will take it. Anything is gravy at this point since I have already hit my goal of 15 pounds lost during this cut.

I started this weight cut at 225-226. And all of the weight I lost has been pretty much fat. My abs and obliques are coming back so that is a good sign.

As I mentioned earlier, I still have a lot of work to do. It will be a year until I am under 190 again. As you can tell from the picture below.

The picture actually makes me look a little fatter than I actually am. Maybe I am taking crappy selfies. Who knows?

Either way, the weight is coming down and that is what matters the most right now.

Diet And Exercise

This was another week of consistency. I averaged 1730 calories eaten daily on around 230 grams of protein, 85 grams of carbs, and 45 grams of fats.

My calories were slightly higher because I had a large cheat meal on Saturday. I do not regret it because it was absolutely delicious and much needed.

I might write a post on cheat meals soon. But the key is not to overdo. Eat one or two large cheat meals and call it a day.

DO NOT gorge on everything in sight. You will regret it. You will feel it immediately. This will make the weight loss much harder.

I hit two a days on the elliptical everyday this week. I averaged over an hour of cardio a day. That I am happy about. I also lifted 4 days this week as well.

Got the work in playa.

Supplementation

My supplementation has stayed the same fr the most part.

I am still supplementing ArimeStage PCT 50 (ostarine, Epi Andro, and arimistane). This is still working pretty well for keeping on muscle and strength (even though it has slightly declined).

Arimacare Pro by Olympus Labs. This is my on cycle support. It helps my liver and heart health. This also as arimistane and prolactin support in it.

I have began to taper down my T3 supplementation. I have using T3 for the past 3 weeks. I tapered up the first week (week 6) and stabilized by dosage around 60-70 mg/day during week 7 and 8.

Now (week 9) I am taking two weeks to taper down and give my natural thyroid production a kick start.

I will continue taper down into my PCT but I will talk about that more next week in my week 9 update.

Just thought I would mention it to let you guys know how I am using this compound.

I believe the ostarine and epi andro are doing an amazing job of preventing catabolism that the t3 might produce. This great because the weight loss keeps coming.

Woohoo.

Job Situation

I actually have not talked about this in a while because I personally did not think anyone cared

But since this post has been short, I think I will go ahead and mention it.

If you recall during week 3, I got laid off from my job. I started working a temporary job 2 weeks later. That job kinda sucked.

It was a 45 minute commute in each direction and work was awful. The office was very depressing as well.

I made a mission to find something better in the short term that did not make me hate my life. I accomplished that.

I have found a permanent job that will hold me over in living costs for awhile.

It is actually doing administrative work around the corporate office of the consulting I originally worked for.

It is still way lower paying that the client work they had me doing before but it is better than last situation. Much better actually.

20 minute train ride from my place and in Washington DC. Perfect. Plus, it pays about the same as the temporary job I left.

Overall, I made out well. I am still applying to jobs like crazy. I have one opportunity that might work because a friend is referring resume to another government entity.

I will keep you guys updated on what happens.

Thanks for all the support.

I am just happy that it has impacted my weight mission. I am very happy about that. Still getting the work in.

Conclusion

That is it for this week. Or at least all the pertinent information relevant to this cut.

I got one week and I am planning on finishing strong.

Then begins the re feeding procedure after this cut. I got ways to go but this is progress.

In the meantime, please check out previous weeks (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) of this cut to get caught up on what I have been doing.

Thanks for reading guys,
