Introduction

What is popping rebels?

It is December already! Fucking nuts, right?

I remember like yesterday when it was January and we were just starting out here.

It is crazy to see how far we have come within in just 11-12 months.

Our community continues to thrive and we are only getting started.

Today, I wanted to talk to you about a common topic for anabolic compound (steroids, pro hormones, SARMs, etc) users.

When taking some of the more hardcore steroids, toxicity to the liver might take place.

You can usually tell if a compound is liver toxic by looking up the compound name.

If there is a methyl molecule anywhere in the name, that means it is toxic to the liver.

These compounds can usually not be cycled for more then 4-5 weeks without risking some serious or long term liver damage.

This long term liver damage can be life threatening if not dealt with immediately.

However, the best way to cure this is to stop it from happening in the first place. Prevention will always be the world's best cure for anything.

In this post, we will cover essential facts about the liver and what you need to do to keep your's active and healthy on and post cycle.

What Does Your Liver Do? Why Is It Important?

The liver has many purposes and functions. For the scope of this article though, we will only focus on it's ability to metabolize and excrete drugs.

It's main function that we will focus is the liver's ability to filter out and get rid off toxins in the body.

When the liver is comprised, your body can become prone to some awful and life threatening physical conditions.

These conditions can lead to cancer, cardiovascular issues, small intensive issues, toxins leaking into the blood, etc.

All of this is no bueno. If you are experienced any weird bodily side effects after a steroid cycle, then go to the Doctor ASAP.

You need to get treated with prescription drugs immediately.

However, for everyone else, we are aiming for prevention. We will list some preventative you can use to keep this issues.

The things I am about to list should be used in conjunction with each other. They have the best effect when coupled together for prevention of liver issues.

Remember you liver is one of the most resilient organs in the body. It can regenerate itself and get back to working normal in no time as long as no substantial damage has been done.

It is always put under some type of strain during your steroid cycles simply because your liver is the thing that breaks those drugs down.

But let us get into my quick list of tips below.

1) Stay Away From Liver Toxic PEDs

This is a pretty obvious. Unless you are competing, then there is hardly ever a reason to use liver toxic PEDs.

They are usually extremely hardcore and come with a ton of side effects.

Not to mention they can crash your natural testosterone levels for good.

So one of the best ways of prevention is to just away from liver toxic drugs.

You have plenty of other options in SARMs (ostarine, LGD, RAD 140) and some less hardcore designer steroids (epi-andro)

2) Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid (TUDCA)

TUDCA is a ambiphilicbile acid. TUDCA is naturally found in low quantities in the human body.

It's origins can be traced back to Ancient East Asian culture where they would kill wild bear (a TUDCA source) and use its TUDCA to heal sick organs.

TUDCA has been traditionally used for heart, kidney, and liver health.

This compound has great potency and can treat cholestasis (bile acid backup in the liver).

This is because other bile acids counteract the toxicity of regular bile acids.

TUDCA can also protect and rehabilitate the liver from low to moderate levels of toxins through the chemical methods explained above.

Overall, TUDCA general protects organ cells; especially in the liver. Hence why this compound is great to take on and post cycle.

TUDCA can really protect you against some of the bad side effects of oral steroids.

A typical dosage stays anywhere between 150 - 200 mg/day. That should be enough to help your liver stay healthy.

3) N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC)

NAC is very potent antioxidant and is a precursor to glutathione and can heal the liver.

It can heal the liver when exposed to low levels of toxins or when a small amount of damage has been done.

NAC restores normal liver levels of glutathione. This allows tissue to heal the liver damage caused by acetaminophen.

NAC also used in conventional and traditional medical practices to break down large amounts of pasty bodily fluid like mucus

Mucus build up is a common symptom of conditions such as emphysema, bronchitis, pneumonia, liver disease, cholestasis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Dosages of NAC should be around 500-600 mg/day. I have taken up to 1000 mg/day before to be really safe.

4) Milk Thistle

Milk thistle is derived from a plant that is naturally occurring all over the world. It was originally discovered in Asia though.

Milk Thistle stimulates new cell growth in the liver and repairs damaged cells. Milk thistle can prevent more damage from being done in this regard.

Milk thistle also helps lower bad (LDL) cholesterol. This increases (HDL) good cholesterol.

This compound also acts as an antioxidant and anti inflammatory as well.

In my opinion, milk thistle is a "must add" to the liver support stack. This will go a long way in making sure your liver stays at full health.

The proper to dosage to take on cycle and post cycle would be around 500 mg/day. That is the sweet spot for most people.

5) Reduce Alcohol Consumption

Now this is a given and very self explanatory. Everyone knows alcohol is not good for you.

But what people do not know is that excessive drinking puts massive strain on your liver.

Remember your liver has to metabolize all that alcohol and make sure it gets excreted ASAP.

After years of abusing alcohol, you liver will begin to diminish function.

Hence, I would recommend only drinking during a few casual occasions  a month or not at all. Preferably the ladder.

Also limiting the alcohol consumption to a few drinks is very important as well. No need to get sloppy drunk.

However, controlled alcohol consumption in moderation is not shown to be life threatening. But it sure does not help your health. Thats for sure.

So limit or cut out the alcohol entirely. Especially when you are on cycle or posy cycle when your liver health might be temporarily comprised.

No need in taking an unnecessary health risk.

Conclusion

There you have it. Those are my tips on how to maintain proper liver health while on cycle and post cycle.

Remember these things meant to be used in conjunction with each other as liver support plan.

Do not just try one and expect for that magically cure your liver or prevent your liver from harm.

Be smart and use these tips together. Arimacare Pro by Olympus Labs has many of the supplements listed above in it so that is a good place to start.

Take your liver health and steroid use seriously guys. Because you can do some serious bodily harm if you are not careful with your health.

I hope this article helped you guys. Let know what you think and your experiences with the liver and steroid use below.

Thanks,

Ray Kingsman
